Bio:
I believe therapy should be a safe, compassionate, and empowering space. I work with children, teens, and adults to process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and build practical coping strategies. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices.
Zuleika Rosa is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Fluent in Spanish, she has extensive experience working with diverse populations, including children’s crisis services and individuals impacted by substance use, human trafficking trauma, and complex behavioral health needs.
Her professional background includes roles as a behavioral health technician, crisis unit supervisor, and therapist providing individual and group counseling for children, adolescents, and adults. She has facilitated WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan), anger management, emotional regulation, and coping skills groups in both crisis and outpatient settings.
Zuleika utilizes an integrative, trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. She is committed to creating a supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of meaningful growth.
